[APD] Glue for tank brace

Can anyone advise me what sort of glue I should use to reattach a centre 
tank brace that has fallen off?



I tried silicon, assuming this might have been used originally but after 
refilling the tank 2/3 of the way the brace has come away from the sides of 
the tank a couple of millimetres on either end so it seems something 
stronger must have been used.



The brace sits on two ledges of glass about 4mm wide.



This tank, even though it is only 25 gallons, definitely needs a brace. The 
glass bows alarmingly without one.
