I've seen that in various home improvement shows ... neutral and
ground must not share a common busbar ... apparently it's OK here in
Michigan, USA, but elsewhere, it's a no-no

I speculate the purpose is to rule-out busbar failure from
interrupting both your safety ground and your neutral ... this way,
you have two busbars handling each circuit's current path.

good idea I suppose - I don't know how frequent busbar failure is, but
it could happen!  Only downside I could see is making things more
crowded in the electrical box, instead of having two busbars, one for
each half of the box, you now have four?
