55watt PCs *ARE* T5s except that they are folded in half! The folding presents and advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage is possibly squeezing more lighting into a small space. The disadvantage is that the folded tube blocks more of its own light than with a straight tube. Of course, of you put straight tubes as close together, it won't be diff.
If you compare a single PC to single T5, yo will liekly notice some small diff just as you would if you compared one PC to another model of PC.

I'd say the PC's are close to the same as a T5, the spread is
better from the T5's I think.
