It would be a perfect situation to follow this "reading the tank" 
approach, and then make a note of your actual CO2 value so others can 
compare their results and have a starting point from which to test. 
That's the only reason measurements are a good thing ... to communicate 
a quantitative value to others so that they can replicate.
