I have found the Milwaukee to be economical and very
consistent and reliable -- not in the least fussy.

Although it resolves only to 0.1 units and has trip points
0.1 units above and below the "target" setting (so you pH
will swing about 0.2 units), that's adequate for most
aquatic gardening purposes.

You can pay a lot more for units with finer resolution.
