The whole point of the argument was that if you cannot rely on a 
controlled laboratory study to carry over to the aquarium, a study 
conducted in an aquarium under less controlled conditions will apply 
*even less*. To say otherwise is to say that increasing the noise in the 
data increases the reliability of the result.
