[APD] Re: Aquatic-Plants Digest, Vol 23, Issue 22

http://www.invasive.org/eastern/biocontrol/7Hydrilla.html

Ken has documented depths of Hydrilla growing at 15 meters deep.
That's beyond my diving depth max.

Previous accepted max depths for vascular plants(mosses can go 100's of meters deep, eg Lake Tahoe, Crater lake etc) was about 10-11 meters.

Min light is about 10-12 micro moles/m^2/sec, not much light(2000 is full sun) for it to grow.

Tom Barr
