If you truly want to remove CO2 from the water being sent on to the 
fish tanks, why not just run that water through a bio-wheel filter?  We 
are constantly being told that such filters dissipate the CO2 we have 
added to the water, so why not use that effect, while also adding some 
more filtration?  Just a thought.
