Oh goody! Another gadget to try to DIY for our aquariums! All it would take is a six foot square parabolic mirror on the roof, a 2 inch diameter bundle of fiber optics, a "reflector" made to distribute the ends of the bundle evenly over the top of the aquarium, etc. And, it would save us paying $5 each for fluorescent tubes. Sounds like a winner all around!
Doesn't help much at night either.
