Re: [APD] Modifying 4 foot light fixture

This morning I found at a local hardware store a one bulb, 2 foot strip for $10 and a two bulb "shop light", 2 foot fixture, with shiny polished reflector, for $25!! So, I am in like Flynn. Now I plan to combine the two for a three tube fixture and replace the ballasts with a 3 tube electronic ballast. The combination will be considerably cheaper than even the AH kit, and will use cheap bulbs to boot. Perseverance is the name of the game.

I have a 24"x2 fixture that I've used in the past. I originally bought it at Home Depot(I think) for around $15-20. You can probably find it or something similar at any of the big name home/office supply stores(eg, Lowe's, Yardbirds, etc)
