One bag reportedly does 2" in a 10 gallon which has 200 sq inches. Your tank
has 864
sq inches so you will need 6 bags for 3 inches
average depth (4 for 2 inches and 2 more to
raise to 3 inches, approx). Seven bags would
definitely give you some leeway on this;-)
