[APD] RE: LakeTanganika plants

In Aquarium Plants, by Christel Kasselmann on pp. 37-38 she lists the 
following plants: Pistia stratiotes, Valisneria spiralis var. 
denseserrulata, Ceratophyllum demersum, Myriophyllum spicatum, Potamogeton 
pectinatus, Potamogeton schweinfurthii, and Hydrilla verticillata, Najas 
horrida, Najas marina subsp. armata in Ndole Bay, all in Lake Tanganyika. I 
checked all the Nymphaea and Nymphoides listings and only Nymphaea lotus, 
Nymphoides forbesiana, and Nymphoides thunbergiana are found in Africa in 
the countries around Lake Tanganyika but not specifically stated as existing 
in the lake.

Is there anyone around who knows what plants actually occur in Lake 
Tanganika.  I'm setting up a 120 gal biotope tank for some of the more 
peaceful(?)(non-plant eating) cichlids and sort of got the idea of combining 
them with my plant interest.  I know theres mosses, Vals, Nymphea, 
Bladderworts, Hornworts and a few potamogetons.  Any others?  Thanks, Jim
