Re: [APD] Trace Elements to use in PMDD

Actually Plantex CSM is not readily available in the US. There is one wholesaler and Greg and that's pretty much it. I split out around 70 pounds a couple of years ago just because no one could find it.
Sears and Conlin were in Canada at the time and apparently Plantex is much more available there. In fact here in the US finding ANY type of trace element mix is pretty hard to do. I have a hydroponics store close to where I work that mixes up a custom liquid trace element mix and that's about the only on I can find in a metropolitan area of around 1.5 million people. And this is an area that contains a very high number of avid gardeners and supplies around 30% of the total nursery stock grown in the US.

I have contacted Greg Watson about ordering some but the shipping costs are
quite high.

There is local trace element product called TRELMIX which contains:
    Fe 22.6 g/kg
    Cu 3.2 g/kg
    Mn 2.9 g/kg
    Zn 2.4 g/kg
    B 1.1 g/kg
    Mo 0.3 g/kg
    Mg 0.3 g/kg

Will the Trelmix be fine ?

Was plantex CSM purely used because its readily available in the US or is
the exact make-up important ?
