The last two thirds of issue 38 was composed of quotes of quotes of quotes
from prior issues, going down five levels.

One cause of this problem is the fact that Microsoft Outlook Exchange
automatically includes the content of
the message to which a response is being made.  This can have a snowballing
effect.

To prevent this, simply deleted the unwanted data from your email response
before you send it.
