Re: [APD] Cu levels in PMDD

Is this a compo product?
BASF product from germany?

Here it's called Hortrilon...
I bet this is the one... (with a different name)

It has 10X more copper than TMG (if we compare the ratio copper/iron).
there are a lot of aquarists, that use this with great sucess.

I use it a little, and my shrimps thrives in this water.

This are quelated copper, if you make the usual essencial water changes, you
would not get any problem!

here are the values...

5% Fe EDTA
3% Mg like salt and with EDTA
2.5% Cu EDTA
2.5% Mn EDTA
0.5% Bo (mineral form)
0.5% Mo (mineral form)
0.5% Zn EDTA
0.005% Co EDTA

I believe this is only sold in europe.

Regards from Portugal!

Subject: [APD] Cu levels in PMDD

I'm looking at mixing PMDD for my self. The only Trace Element Mix that I
can find localy has relativly hight levels of of Copper (Cu). All the other
minirals are present in roughly the same ammounts as in CSM, except the
copper which is about 10 times more.

At what levels will the copper become a problem ?
