The Innes look says to add hydrated lime to water until it will no longer
stay in the solution.  Then let the precipitate settle out and pour off the
liquid to make the solution.
To use make a 6 to 1 water/solution mix and treat plants for 15 minutes.  It
is used to get rid of leeches and crustaceans. (pg. 115)
