Ahh. Now I know the stuff you're talking about. That kind
of structure is self-reinforcing. It's extruded rahter than
cast, of course, and the matierial I've seen wasn't
particularly crystal clear so I would think that it abosrbs
a lot of light *and* diffuses a lot of what passes through
it. But what the hey? Throw another light on the tank and
it's mute. ;-)
