[APD] (no subject)

hi all,

i just got some fish at a local store last week,
including some fish they sold as lizardfish. i wasn't
sure if they were a type of loach from fast streams in
southeast asia, which are usually called lizardfish.
looking in my baensch atlas and planetcatfish.com, i
think they are Glyptothorax, a genus from a
little-known and not so common family (Sisoridae) of
catfish from asia. they are slim, elongated fish, with
mouths that are somewhat like the suction mouths of
plecos and some loaches, with long barbels on the
sides.

has anyone had any experience in keeping these? so
far they seem to be ok, except they hide a lot and i
have not seen them feed yet.

thanks.
