Well....
Even though there IS a bit of farse going on here - being a DOC (Darn
Onerous cat) owner and having dealt with cleaning large gobbers of cathair
from my tanks over the years... Its not going to cause any harm to your
fish that ive ever noticed (besides having to pull hairballs off the
strainer cup on your filters ever few days).
Honestly, the only concern i can see would be making sure any hair used in
layered substrates be washed thorougly beforehand to remove any hairspray,
etc.....
