RE: [APD] grey slime

How much water movement do you have in this tank?  I find this grey
slime growing in the holding tank I have for my well water outside.
Before my UV sterilizer was installed in my tank I would also find it
growing in my tank if I left my powerhead turned off for several days.
Usually just turning the powerhead back on was enough to get rid of it
rather quickly.  Not sure if this is the same grey gunk, but its worth a
shot.
