Hello,
I have been a member of this Aquatic Plant Mailing List for quite some time, mostly as a learner, and a lurker.  I have on two or three occasions actually asked for some information and some help on my plants in some aquariums and in my ponds.  I sure did get a lot of advice.  Mostly on the way I type.  (Like typing in all caps).  And I just love having my spelling corrected and highlighted.  As for the information and help I requested on my plants I did not get any.  

It seems to me that  this list and its members seem to change  periodically like the weather with their answers and their sarcasms.  I don't care about anyone's political point of view or their personal views or how our government is run. If it's so bad go to Iran or Iraq and see how good you have it here. Let's try to keep this list to information about plants and bettering our hobby for the good of all.

I am so happy to see Mr. Tom Burr back on the list and  giving freely his wealth of information so frequently and never complaining about helping anyone.  You have been a great help to me on your vast knowledge and information sharing.  I would like to take this time to thank you. Also, Tom I sure do miss your stories.  Isn't it about time for a good story??  A couple of my friends from New Jersey said they met you and that you are one hell of a nice guy.Maybe I will try to make the next convention.
