[APD] co2 accident

Thanks to both of you for replying to my post.  You confirmed what I suspected about the temp.  I have turned the co2 off and have not touched the tank except to remove the dead fish.  I tested Ph an hour ago (12 hours from turning co2 off) and Ph is still off the scale.  Should I use an Alkalinity buffer by Seachem to bring the Ph back up or should I just leave it alone?
