He does use a lot of Hydrocotyle verticillata, but H.
sibthorpiodes is something much different.  Someone is
borrowing my copy of Amano book two right now, so I
can't give page numbers.  There is a bit of
sibthorpioides here:

I think that may be verticillata in the middle
(overexposed), but the stuff in the front right is the
right stuff.
