[APD] a few questions

1. Can I rapidly propagate freshwater plants by only
partially submersing them? I noticed this one bright
red plant I have grows quite well with its lower half
in the water.

2. Can I also use this to clean plants of algae if its
killing off the plant since the algae won't live
outside of water?

3. What is the best way to eliminate that black algae
that grows all over the leaves? I heard someone
meantion copper somewhere, where do you buy that? Do
they sell it at most pet shops?
