The solution to the time-change problem:  a radio-controlled clock that picks up time signals broadcast from government atomic clocks....

woke up yesterday am to find it had already changed itself, and I could carry it around while changing others to use as a reference.

$29.99 and up at radioshack; even more expensive at sharper image and brookstone etc.

TiVO also changed its own time automatically; everything else needed hands-on help.
