[APD] Ottelia alismoides seed

It looks as if my O. alismoides is about to flower. I know that they are 
usually self fertile and to catch the seed before the pod disintegrates 
however I'd like to hear about experiences with germinating and growing 
seedlings out and raising baby plants. I've tried such things before with 
other aquatic plants with +/- success (more - than + admittedly) so any 
tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.
