According to Princeton University WordNet Database, aquarium's plural form
is a choice thing: aquaria or aquariums. It's always nice to have a choice
but personally I like the funnerer version, too. 8)

Where's James Purchase? I thought surely he'd finally show up for the recent
taxonomy threads.....  and a search shows him last heard from in January.

Not necessarily, but it's definitely funnerer to say "aquaria" instead of
"aquariums".  It's got a nice tradition from the old usenet days of
alt.aquaria
