Andre,
You can soak the plants in Lime-It, which is a
commercial product for the removal on snail eggs or a
1:19 bleach to water solution for 2-3 minutes. This
treatment regime will remove snail eggs and algae.
After each of these treatments rinse the plants
multiple times in copious amounts of water. I like to
submerge them in a bucket of water 4X for 30 sec.
