Anyone have ideas on what this plant is and/or its requirements?
I picked it up at a distant Petco, and when I returned a few weeks later,
they didn't have any more ... it was sold as an "Assorted Aquatic Plant" and
no-one there could ID it

Hmm! The leaf veination looks a lot different than that of the
various Hygrophila species. It was definitely grown emersed. I
would say that it looks rather uncompromisingly terrestrial. Try
some of it under water and see, but try growing another piece of it
emersed.
