Hay folks,

I am planning a trip to New York and would like to visit some of
aquarium shops. Any suggestions, directions?

There's one place I can recommend in Manhattan

New World Aquarium on 38th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue.

They have a good collection of African Cichlids, Marine stuff & Fresh Water
fish. The prices were a bit high but I couldn't compare with other LFS as
many did not have the same selection.

I did not see a good selection of plants there. It'd be better to go the
mail order route for plants if you are staying in New York long enough.
