Oops. Found the answer in the archives. CO2 loss is minimal. LFS guy on crack. Ugly powerhead and his friends the heater and the reactor, now safely hidden away in sump under the tank.
Now I need some info on how to fashion a safe, elegant, plant friednly return that produces good but not dangerous current, and provides a low risk of backflow
