I have had suggestions to use potassium permanganate as a dip for new plants
to get rid of snails and eggs before adding the plant to my tanks. Has
anyone had this treatment fail? Is the 10mg/L dose sufficient. Would using
a snail-a-cide as a dip be more or less effective?
