The test kits I have from Red Sea Pharms usually say to hold the vial 8"
away from the card.  Some of the tests (phosphate) tell you to hold it
8" above the card and look down thru the top.

Umm...well, around here, a minute is 60 seconds.  Is it different in
your space/time continuum 8^)
