grey brush and other red algae

Do try the Phosphate method. I didn't9;nt know that
one when I had an heavy outbreak of at least three
types of red algae including the gstag hornhorn type.

If it does not work I recommend the Copper sulphate
approach. This will NUKE any red algae with perhaps a
few innocents. See
http://www.thekrib.com/Plants/Algae/red-algae.html
for advice.

I used a syringe with copper sulphate solution
directly on the algae. The algae died completely in a
few hours.

Try this only as a last resort. It will kill any red
algae for sure. Howeresponsibilitylity for innocent
bystanders (:@<-< is yours !

regards

Stephan
