6% solution = 60,000 mg/L

60,000 mg/L * 0.000001667 L = 0.10002 mg Fe

0.10002 mg / total volume of 1 L = 0.10002 mg/L Fe

The problem now being, how do you accurately measure 0.001667 ml?

Go the two step route: 1 ml of 6% Fe to 1 L = 60 mg/L, take 1.667 ml of that 60 mg/L solution and
dilute to 1 L for 0.1002 mg/L.
