According to info archived on the KRIB
(http://www.thekrib.com/Plants/Plants/Isotes.html), different species of
Isotes might have slightly different looking spores, but if yours are mature
and have developed sporangiums at the bases of the leaves, you might be in
luck. Kasselmann (page 322) shows a photo of what you should look for and
gives some guidance in how to grow them, you might also want to read the
C-fern manual (http://www.bio.utk.edu/botany/cfern/cmanual/cfernman.html,
which contains detailed instructions on growing Ceratopteris from spores.
One fern ought to be pretty much like another as far as propagating them
from spores (not all that easy....it isn't like growing radishes).
