Chuck Gadd reported his success with using a $30 regulator.

Details, Chuck.  May we have make and maybe model number,
too?  We might not have your lws (local welding supply) but
we might find similar regulators at our own lws.  It's nice
to know options.

300 psi is running on empty?  Try stectching things out to
less than 200, if you feel like living dangerously ;-)
