Hi,

In the few occasions that my tanks have had "ich" outbreaks simply raising 
the temperature to the low to mid 90's for four or five days eliminated the 
problem with no side effects.  That was easier than trying to find chemicals 
or a mix of chemicals that would do the job without harming the tank 
inhabitants or me.

BTW, the die-off of Chinook salmon in the Klamath River in CA has been 
attributed in part to ich, brought about by the stress that low and warm 
water had on the salmon.
