Re: Aquatic Plants Digest V5 #342

Or maybe you just can't get enough of aquascaping contests?

Well I am sponsoring a contest on a smaller scale.
Its simple: any size tank of any theme, but there are two ways to enter:

1. limited aquascape
The challenge here is to create a new aquascape choosing only plants from a
specified list: everyone in this catagory will have the same list of plants
to work with and each person's own creativity will determin how unique their
particular aquascape looks.

Unlimited aquascape
Enter your already established aquascape or use any plants you wish.

All entries will be judged by the following people:
David Oliver
Jay Luto "Dr. Jay"
Ghazanfar Ghori
Birgit Frühwirth, from Austria, (her and her boyfriend Wolfgang were AGA
winners last year)

The contest opens October 1 and closes March 1 2003
Official rules can be viewed here:
http://www.aquabotanic.com/aquascapecontest.htm There will also be an online
registration form on this page soon.

Entries are accepted from anywhere in the world. To support people
interested in joining, Aqua Botanic's aquascaping forum is moderated and has
participation from the judges and other accomplished aquascapers with
discussion on several aquascape styles and techniques, as well as posted
pictures. The goal is to provide education and inspiration for anyone to
feel comfortable entering.

The grand prize is a complete German made Aqua medic CO2 system or a Carbo
Plus CO2 system, (winners choice!)

Best regards
