I made an inquiry of Tropica and this was their response.

Unfortunately we do not have much information about this plant. it can
be found in south East asia but we do not have the scientific name yet.

And Loh informed me that the fish shop owners in Sinapore said they obtained
it from Taiwan. That doesn't however mean it originates from there. Don M.
