Lighting

Thanks to all for the advice on a lighting setup for my 
tank.  I just placed the order with AH for a 2x55watt 
with 6400k and 5300k bulbs.  By the way, I did make a 
mistake on my tank specs.  It is 30" long, not 24!

While I'm here, I am currently using DIY yeast for my 
CO2. Since after buying the lights I won't be looking 
for a good CO2 system anytime soon, does anyone have 
suggestions for plants that like the water slightly 
acidic? Our city tap water is usually on the high side,  
7.5 or above, but when I add the CO2 it drops to about 
6.5 and remains stable until the CO2 runs out.  Thanks
