Hello Shireen, About the mystery plant, does it produce adventitious plants from the stems? I think I know what you are talking about. It might be a nymphoides species. Seen it before. I only have the Chinese name for the plant. Chinese who knows hanyu pinying, the plant is called da xiang gu.(literal translation: big mushroom.) Hope this helps. Wayne Wah from Singapore
