If you fish out everything you can with a net -- just like skimming a
swimming pool for leaves.  Stragglers you can lift out with a stick: 
lift the stick up from under a dickweed plant and the surface tension
will hold it to the stick as you lift it out of the water.  Then keep
after the remaining bits each day with stick -- you can beat it without
too much wait.  A few pieces might show up for a few days -- where the
heck did those come from?  Keep removing them.  This always works for
me.

It makes rinsing plants first, and skimming off fish water first a lot
more attractive, doesn't it?  ;-)
