Re: Crinum flower stalk
Sorry for piping in late on this.
I had a Crinum flower last year. Beautiful flower.
The tank (20" tall tank, 60 gal) had the following conditions: hard to very
hard water, 2x96 PC lights, temp in the high 70s. pH 7.2, CO2 injected.
Substrate was very old gravel, supplemented with clay and laterite and the
odd Jobe stick.
The tank itself was packed with weeds, the Crinium bulb 8-10 cm in diameter
and had produced a few plantlets (baby bulbs) before it grew the flower.
