Wayne: As several have already mentioned,it sounds
like  a Hillstream Loach of some type,generally sold
under such common names as Borneo Sucker,Hong Kong
Pleco,Butterfy Pleco,etc(the more imaginative the
wholesaler/LFS Manager,the more imaginative the name:)

Read Martins article,and if you feel you can provide
the necessary conditions,then by all means buy
some,they can be very entertaining,but you will find
