Loh,

Two drops per gallon of Formalin (37% Formaldehyde) will normally do the job
of ridding Hydra.  This has not hurt my plants or fish.  If you can't get
this at a pharmacy or at a local fish store, try an Undertaker (Funeral
Parlor).
