I used to have them growing in my tank (I used to have daphnia and
cyclops growing in my tank...). Then they disappeared mysteriously (as
did the daphnia and cyclops). Too bad. I thought they were cool. I was
amazed when people on this list reported finding them and being
_disgusted_ by them and asked how to get rid of them.

Think of your tank as a living, dynamic ecosystem--not just a "pretty
decoration for the living room"! :-)
