Would be interested to know your water change
schedule.

I do think it's a nutrient thing.  But I'm not sure
what.  Probably not N and P, if you have a high fish
load.  It would be interesting if you switched to a
commercial fert (TMG, Flourish) for a couple weeks and
checked to see of the black edges went away.  I gave
up on using my own PMDD concoction (Fertilome iron
product + other stuff) a long time ago, and have had
better success with the commercial stuff (but then
again, I get it for real cheap).

I should also note that stargrass is VERY sensitive to
macro/micro deficiencies.  It turns white before any
other plant shows signs.
