Depending on the manufacturerof the aquarium and the silicone that is used,
the following two cures work very well but may stain your silicone:

    "Quick-Cure" and "Clout"

The stain eventually disappears!  These will not harm plants and are very
effective,  You might try just Formalin, but I would suggest that you raise
your temperature to 85 degrees F.
