I just put together some simple 500ml bottles for use as bubble counters
with my DIY CO2 system, because the CO2 line goes into the filter/pump, so
without the counter I don't know when my yeast runs out of steam--although
in theory I could check the pH, in practice it seems simpler to count
bubbles, and cheaper (save on those test kits).
